Penjelasan Ustaz Jailani mengenai kes Fatimah Tan vs MAIPP

I want to share this short explaination by Ustaz Jailani on a controversial case Fatimah Tan vs MAIPP recently. although it is bit late but i post this topic anyway. Last week ustaz Jailani came to my office office for tazkirah session on Friday morning. Actually i was on leave. the tazkirah was recorded by my friend. you can download it here

my understanding of the case is that this Fatimah tan is not really came into Islam for Islam but for her own pleasure. There is also a case in the era of prophethood where a person who was never say the 2 syahadahs but has been proclaimed by Rasullullah as muslim and Rasullullah has ordered sahabahs to perform salat janazah ghaib when he died. the person is Najasyi Ashama bin Bahr, the King of Habasyah at the time of first hijrah (you can download this article by Hafiz firdaus here).
